From Acupuncture Class to Muay Thai Training Ground: Guiyang Kangyang University Students Embark on a "Major + Culture" In-Depth Study Tour in Thailand

Time:2026-04-21

Following the opening ceremony and city tour, the study tour group from Guiyang Kangyang University at Shinawatra University in Thailand has continued to deepen its study activities. This advanced stage of learning is centered on "professional deepening + cultural experience," aiming to enhance students' professional skills and cross-cultural competence in both directions.

Building on the foundational knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and health preservation acquired at home, the study tour group entered the Medical Training Center of Shinawatra University to actively participate in acupuncture courses. Under the guidance of Thai instructors, students systematically learned acupoint location, meridian mechanisms, and key points for the application of Chinese and Thai health practices. Through one-on-one hands-on practice, they refined their professional techniques, deepened their understanding of the integration of traditional Chinese acupuncture and Thai physiotherapy concepts, and effectively enhanced their practical capabilities in cross-border health services as well as their level of international collaboration.

Through hands-on practice, they deepened their understanding of Thai culture and injected fresh vitality into China-Thailand educational and cultural exchanges.
